This place is absolutely phenomenal. The food is delicious and the portions generous. They also carry a bunch of unique products, such as various italian sodas. An absolute gem. Every time I'm in Toms Rivers, I make a point of stopping in for their prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich. Highly recommend those in the area check it out.
My husband and I have loved this place for at least two years. Their delivery option is thru the Slice app so that's how we ordered. Today, we ordered food for pickup on our way home from north jersey. I went into the store for the first time. The place was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Plus, they have so many more options if you don't order thru the Slice app. Besides our favorite sandwiches, Auntie Annette's and the Pompei, I ordered their fried mozzarella (amazing!), a fresh loaf of Semolina (directly from Brooklyn) and a package of rainbow cookies. The lady at the counter was a real doll. I felt like I was back in my old childhood neighborhood. Please, check out this place. They also offer catering. You cannot go wrong!
Subs were huge and delicious. You won't go hungry eating here. Would highly recommend the Pompeii sub.
We tried this place after passing it many times last weekend. The staff were very friendly, everything there is homemade. I had the Caprese sandwich. My wife had the buffalo chicken. Both were very good! I also must say you get a very high value for the type of food and portion size you receive! We definitely need to go back and try their other specialties, but we are definitely returning!
Good service usally .did get stuck with a grumpy Italian women (black hair ) not usally there but avoid her .all the other staff is friendly and serves u quickly .the owner is amazingly passionate about what he does and u see it in all the things he makes . Or when he speaks to u .All the food is amazing and fresh .u can get cheese and coffee and baked goods as well as ready made food for ur family dinners and deserts .always available parking .never too busy .the women are so friendly beside that one.with no disrespect to the other staff members who are very accommodating and take interest in there customers. I have recommend this place to a lot of people the prices aren't high like other cucinas around here (cucina Fresca ) in bayville jeez ....there prices are out of this world compared with o this place
Sue walked me through all the steps I needed to pull off an amazing surprise 50th Birthday party for my wife. I am the socializer in our relationship she is the entertainer... a distinction that became all too real for me throughout the planning process. The food was amazing as always but the service was extraordinary. From the moment they showed up with the delicious food to the last garbage run at the very end of the evening, DC was everything that I could have hoped for in a caterer. I highly recommend them. so damn delicious. The food is just excellent prepared fresh daily. Authentic real world olive oil. Freshly prepared raviolis. Sweet and hot sausage absolutely delicious. Sandwiches are just outstanding. Love love love this place. Hidden gem at the moment probably not gonna last long like that, though. If you're in the area, definitely give it a try you won't be disappointed.
Food was okay. They charged a dollar for a 2oz side of dressing that was less than half full. That was a bit disappointing. I got two sandwiches good amount of meat on both, and they seemed fresh.
Once again! Had food catered for New Year's Day! Picked everything up the day before, I asked them to please not bake it as I would bake everything the next day for our party! Great choice, everything was delicious. Penne Vodka (best I ever had!), eggplant parm, chicken parm (absolutely perfect) and cavetelli. Made my day easy, and it tastes like home cooking made with love!
We ordered the sandwich platter with salads. Everyone enjoyed them! No complaints! A nice and easy lunch to share with friends!
